The Pacific Alpine Institute instructors are dedicated professionals, trained and certified by the Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA), the Lifesaving Society and the National Ski Patrol (NSP). They enjoy sharing their knowledge, experience, and skills to others and in turn, enjoy watching the students gain skills that they thought were not obtainable. The instructors create a fun and relaxed classroom environment that is very conducive to learning. They employ many different teaching methods to satisfy all different learning types. Our high quality instructional material also promotes effective learning progressions that emphasize the most important knowledge and skills. We continually strive to produce current audio-visual aids for our students to help facilitate learning.
