WORKSITE FIRST AID LEVEL 1 (WFA Level 1)

This course is the equivalent of the OFA Level 1 certification and is accepted by WCB in all workplaces in British Columbia. WFA Level 1 provides the basic knowledge and skills required by the Occupational First Aid Attendant to provide effective emergency care to injured workers until EMS arrives.

  • Candidates must be 16 years old in order to take WFA Level 1
  • Candidates must provide one piece of photo identification OR two pieces of approved secondary identification at the start of the course
  • The CPR skills taught in WFA Level 1 are equivalent to CPR-A
  • WFA Level 1 is valid for 2 years and recertification is achieved by repeating the WFA Level 1 course
  • Course Cost: $125 CDN
